TAS Group, established in the year 2008, is a joint venture between Shah Group and Maxwell Group. I n a very short span of time, the group has become one of the fastest growing companies in the field of Airline Representation, Aviation Services, Logistics, Cargo Security Scanning & Handling and Travel & Tourism across Bangladesh. The group is maintaining strong prescence all pover the country through wich it is successfully distributing the products and services of it’s principles and companies.
The group initially commenced its operation with Total Air Services Ltd back in 2007 and started diversifying its business in 2014 by acquiring and forming companies such as Total Logistics and Courier Services Ltd, TAS Aviation Ltd., Total Air Cargo Services Ltd., Shah Travels Ltd., Northern Aviation Services Ltd., Airline Management Services and more.
Currently, the group is representing many well-reputed airlines and logistics companies such as AirAsia Berhad (Malaysia), Kuwait Airways Company (Kuwait), Thai Air Asia (Thailand), Maldivian (Maldives), First Flights Courier (UAE), SMSA Express (Saudi Arabia), ZTO Express (China) and many more in the territory of Bangladesh and it has been doing so successfully since it’s inception.

PARENT COMPANIES
Shah Group (named as “Shah” family name of the founder, started business activities during 1937 as civil engineering, construction and contracting business. From 1968-1975, company activity was paused. In the year 1976, started its business activities by Shah Islam Construction Ltd. which was the leading construction and contracting company in the country.
Successfully completed large projects such as Siddhirganj 210 MW Thermal Power Plant of BPDB, Construction of 14 Nos. 5-toried & 2 Nos. 3-storied total 16 building of IPSA under USAID, 12000MT of Fertilizer Ware House under World Bank finance in Khulna, Bangladesh Bank Multi Storied office building in Khulna, Dhaka International Airport Biman’s Administration Building, 500- bed National Eye Hospital at Dhaka under P.W.D., 250-bed Cancer Hospital at Dhaka under P.W.D., 250-bed TB Hospital at Dhaka under P.W.D and many more.
The Group started diversifying its business in the field of industry by estab- lishing jute laminating and processing industry for the first time of its kind in Bangladesh in the name of “Shah Jute and Plastic Processing Industry Ltd.” in the year 1982 and gradually established and acquired couple of more indus- tries like Shah Jute Diversifying Industry, Epsilon Plastic Bagging Industry, Total Air Services Ltd., Total Apparel Ltd., Total Communication Ltd., Total Management Services Ltd., Total Hi-Tech Security Ltd., Shah Poultry and Agro and Dhaka Jute Mills Ltd and many others.
After then all the companies grouped under the Shah Group by forming Group of Companies. Shah Group currently involved in project development in the field of infra- structure development, construction, Real Estate, Footwear Manufacturing, Steel Works & Fabrication, Oil & Gas, Stock brokerage and International Trading
Maxwell Group (MG) is a conglomerate in Bangladesh, founded in 1980. At present, the group is holding interest in the fields of finance, food and beverage, electric and electronic products, brick manufacturing and inland container depot. It is operating with a vision to pursue excellence in the world of business and commerce. This vision has successfully turned this company from a single AIM business corporation to a multi-industry company that has investments in corporation and organizations such as Easter Logistics. Ltd., NCC Bank Ltd., BMSL Asset Management and Diplomatic Equities and others.
